(22.12.2007) Vor etwa einem Jahr wurde angefangen in New York Street Art Bilder von bekannten KünstlerInnen systematisch zu zerstören. Die Täter benutzten Farbbeutel, mit denen sie die Werke von Street Artists wie Shepard Fairey unkenntlich machten. Dazu plakatierten sie Flugblätter mit Erklärungen zu den Aktionen. Die Gruppe nennt sich selbst „Splasher“ und ihre gesammelten Texte kursieren im Internet als 16-seitiges pdf-File. Radikal politische Anti-Street Art? Für uns Grund genug das Wirken von Splasher zu durchleuchten. Und zu fragen: Wie subversiv ist Street-Art wirklich? Paul von Radio Corax sprach dazu mit Christian Heinecke. Er ist Autor des Buches Autor. „Street Art – Die Stadt als Spielplatz“.

Its interesting that i still prefer ‚art‘ after looking at you wonderful symbolic diagram. Thank you for making what you call ’street art‘ even more contentless.

Take away the protest and what is left, not much! Scratch a crustie and what do we find? A facsist.

My advise to you is take the first available donated seed and create something you can be proud of.

If you are unable understand any of these words. look in a dictionary, you find them in libraries.
